Misfire.

Don't know when your car or van was last serviced? neither did this customer when their Volvo developed a misfire.

Vehicle was plugged into our diagnostic computer and fault codes read witch came up with cylinder 2 misfire.

The Quickest and cheapest first step for diagnosis here is to remove the spark plugs as you can tell alot from the colour/ condition of a spark plug as to what is going on in an engine, for example if one plug is wet and the others are dry, this could indicate that cylinder with the wet plug is getting fuel but no spark.

So with the coil pack removed, half of cylinder 2 spark plug comes out attached to the coil pack, so now we have found the problem, quickly and cheaply. The owner had not had a service since owning the car for 5 years and the plug has disintegrated causing a misfire.

With a fresh set of spark plugs and a full service this was one happy engine again!
