Fuel System Cleaning in and across Pevensey and Eastbourne

With both a fully-fitted workshop and mobile garage service, Edwards Motor Works Ltd provides fuel system cleaning services in and across the Pevensey and Eastbourne area.

Why does my car’s fuel system need cleaning?

You should have your car’s fuel system regularly cleaned, as a clean and efficient fuel system allows your vehicle to perform to its full potential. You should notice benefits such as:

• Better fuel efficiency, which will save you money at the pumps
• A clean combustion process equals lower emissions
• Overall improved performance because your engine is able to work much more efficiently
• It helps your engine to last longer, as it can prevent avoidable wear and tear
• It’s a useful form of preventative maintenance – if you can stop sooty deposits building up in the fuel system it will keep it in top condition

How does a fuel system clean work?

Traditionally, the fuel system would have to be dismantled for an effective clean to take place and some garages still use this technique even though it’s much more time-consuming meaning that you’re without your vehicle for much longer, less effective than the methods that we use, and inevitably, more expensive too.

Edwards Motor Works Ltd use specialist cleaners that contain additives that work to break down sticky deposits that are left behind in the fuel system. It’s essential that the correct cleaner is used for your make and model of vehicle and, of course, that the correct amount is used. We don’t use the over-the-counter cleaners that you might find in the shops; we only use specially designed, proven safe and effective products that produce impressive results.
